Siggraph - Syd Mead

I went out to join my local Siggraph chapter, and had the joy of seeing Syd Mead give a two hour presentation about his work and experiences.

It was pretty incredible to head the guy speak. He's getting up there in years and has worked on some really ground breaking films (Tron, Aliens, Blade Runner). So, I definitely wanted tot take advantage of him coming to speak.

Very 50's inspired futuristic works, with traditional mediums. And he's obviously a master of his craft. Even his "sketchy renders" were far more refined than anything I've ever put out.... hahaha.

Incredible experience. Pay attention to Siggraph, we've seen many of their events and they are incredible.
